At this point the Co-op Bookstore is CLOSED to the public, however we are here to help with your textbooks however we can. You can reach us by phone or email during business hours, and you can order through our website 24/7 for either shipping or pick-up.
UPDATED DELIVERY INFORMATION:
Sept 15th 2020 - We are experiencing a higher volume of online orders than ever before. It seems inevitable when we can't open our store to you, but it is causing delays in our regular fulfilment times. Please note that for now eBooks and access codes can take up to 48 hours to be delivered. Pick up orders will be notified by email when they are ready, with information about dates and times for collection. Most orders placed on or before the weekend should be ready within the next day or two. Orders for delivery are currently taking 3 - 7 business days for delivery.
We realise this is a confusing and frustrating start to a fall semester. The phone lines are full, email responses are slow and getting through to someone to talk to can be difficult. Please know we are not ignoring you and we appreciate your patience with this process, We will respond to everyone as soon as possible and ensure your orders are accurate. Changes or cancellations to orders are not possible at this point. We have suspended our return process until next week just so we can focus on order fulfilment, but we have also extended the return period to accomodate this. Please email us next week about any returns that need to be made.
We apologize for any inconvenience this might cause and are working hard to get back to our normal delivery standards. Please know we're doing everything to get you your course materials as quickly as possible. Thank you for your understanding. Have a safe and successful semester!
eBooks and access codes are emailed directly to you. For physical books we offer $5 flat fee shipping in Ontario (delivered within 1-2 business days), very reasonable rates outside of Ontario (we will quote shipping charges before finalizing an order), and we offer free next day pick-up in Guelph.
Orders need to be pre-paid for shipping, as well as for pick-up.
Should you need to make other arrangements with us please contact us. We realize the situation isn't ideal in many ways, and if you are struggling with the current options we will do our best to figure out an alternative for you.
Please note that information and course preparation has been a bit different this year. There are still some classes that are finalizing their orders, and there are still books arriving on a daily basis. Should you not see the class info, or book availability you are looking for, please check back over the next couple of days. Listings are considered tentative until first class days. Course outlines are considered the final word for course requirements. If you feel our listing is differing from what your course outline is asking for please let us know. If there is a specific title you need, that you don't see listed, please contact us. With the remote nature of Fall semester there is bound to be a bit more confusion around course adoptions this year, but we are committed to getting you the right book, at the right price for your course. Tip of the Day:
Hand sanitizer can be used for more than just hands! We routinely clean used books that come into the store, and you can easily sanitize most of your book covers at home with a dollop of hand sanitizer. Not too much, and only on glossy covers (do not use on matte paperbacks). Polish your covers with hand sanitizer and a tissue. For peace of mind and shiny books!
