You are welcome to stop by the store with your schedule, and we can gather your books in the moment. However we are limited in our capacity and you might be asked to wait outside for admittance.
Current Hours of Operation:
Orders may be placed online and can either be shipped, or picked-up at Johnston Hall. You will receive an order confirmation by email that we have received your order (sent to the email address on the order - please ensure this email address is correct).
Orders to be shipped: We use Purolator for our courier option ($6 flat fee in Ontario). Orders will be processed and shipped the next business day (Mon - Fri). You will recieve tracking information by email. Should you prefer we can also use Expresspost. International orders will be quoted best shipping options before the order is finalized.
Orders for pick-up: Orders will be ready 24 hours after ordering for pick-up, or as soon as you receive an email confirming your order is ready for pick-up. You may pick-up your order, after receiving the email, anytime during our business hours. Simply come to the front of Johnston Hall (facing the clock tower) and call or text the number on the door. You will need to wear a mask and provide photo ID. Please note that if you need someone else to pick-up your order we need that information in the Comments section when placing your order. If you are coming to campus you must fill out the University of Guelph Covid screening form found here: https://uoguelph.eu.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_6lh1bNRMHDEU1OR
Stand-alone eBooks/access codes: Stand alone codes (those not part of a printed package) will be emailed to the email address provided on the order. Please check that your email address is correct. Please add email@example.com to your safe sender list. Check your inbox and junkmail folder. eBooks or access codes that come packaged with a physical book are NOT able to be emailed to you. You will get that code once you receive the book.
Delivery Standards: all orders are processed within 24 hours of being placed. That means within 24 hours of ordering, your eBooks will be emailed to you, your books will be ready for pick-up, or they will be shipped out with the courier *Please note the courier and pick-up times are limited to weekdays - orders placed Friday/Sat/Sun will be shipped, or available for pick-up the following Monday.
Returns: Return period has been extended so that any returnable items purchased in August will be returnable within the first two week of September. eBooks and used books are non-retunable regardless of purchase dates. Starting September the return policy will allow for returns on returnable items within two weeks of purchase date.
All returns and exchanges need to be requested by email. Please include your order number, a description of the return and the reason. We will contact you with instructions. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject line: Return Request

Phone is answered during business hours (weekdays 10am - 4pm) or you may leave a message. All messages will be responded to within 1 business day.

Tip of the Day:
Hand sanitizer can be used for more than just hands! We routinely clean used books that come into the store, and you can easily sanitize most of your book covers at home with a dollop of hand sanitizer. Not too much, and only on glossy covers (do not use on matte paperbacks). Polish your covers with hand sanitizer and a tissue. For peace of mind and shiny books!
