Return Policy

New, unopened, undamaged books are eligible for return within 14 days of purchase with the receipt. 

Used books and custom publications are final sale.

Redeemed access codes are non-returnable. 

Please read full return terms and conditions below:

 

1.  Printed Books sold as NEW are returnable within 14 days of purchase with receipt - with the following conditions and exceptions. 

2.   Non-returnable items:   USED books, CUSTOM publications (made just for Guelph), redeemed eBooks and access codes, Technology (includes iClickers, Dvds, CDs, calculators).   If there is a problem with any of these items please let us know within 48 hours of purchase.  

 

Please check your purchases and receipt for accuracy and let us know within 48 hours if there is a mistake with the order.   Do not open or use anything that might need to be returned.   

We understand that stuff happens.  Should you feel you have a compelling reason to return something outside of policy please email us (books@bookstore.coop), explain the situation and ask what is possible. 

To request a return, please stop by the store with the book and relevant receipt within the described time parameters, and with the purchasing card.  Should you not be local and need to mail a return back to us please contact us for a return authorization number.

For return authorization please email books@bookstore.coop:  Please use subject line 'return request' and add your name.  Please indicate in email what the item is, why it needs to be returned and a copy/photo of your receipt or order confirmation.  We will contact you with further questions or instructions.  Thanks.
