Return Policy

Textbooks:

New books are returnable within 2 weeks of purchase, with receipt, in new, unopened condition

Used books are final sale (you can always sell used books back)

Custom books (anything printed specifically for Guelph) are final sale

eBooks/digital codes:

Unredeemed codes are returnable within 1 week of purchase, with receipt

Redeemed codes are non-returnable      *there is some flexibility, with some publishers, during the first week of classes.   If you have a problem talk to us and we'll see what can be done.   

Clothing:

Returnable/exchangeable with 2 weeks of purchase, with receipt, tags still on, in new, unworn condition

*Sales items can be exchanged but not returned

Gifts/Stationary:

Returnable with 2 weeks of purchase, with receipt, in new condition

 

Please check your purchases, and receipt, for accuracy and let us know ASAP (within 48 hours) if there is any mistake with the order.    We're practically perfect but things happen.   We will not stick you with any incorrect course materials.

Do not open or use anything that might need to be returned.   

To request a return, please stop by the store with the book and relevant receipt within the described time parameters, and with the purchasing card.  Approved returns are made to the purchasing card, or to store credit (gift card).   Bookstore staff can reject any item not matching the return parameters.

 

Shipping returns back:

If you can't stop by the store and need to mail a return back to us, please call or email us for a return authorization number and shipping instructions.  Shipping costs are usually not refundable.
